What is Online Notes?

Online Notes (ON) is a web portal of the University of Ljubljana that allows listeners to follow the lecturer’s speech in Slovenian and its translation into English in real time on their mobile devices or laptops during lectures.

The lecturer is equipped with a microphone and runs a tool on the web portal that records him, recognizes his speech and translates it into English. All listeners who are not Slovenian speakers can follow the lecture through translation, and the Slovenian speech transcript can also be useful for people with sensory disabilities.
