Center for Language Resources and Technologies (CJVT UL) is a unit of the University of Ljubljana dedicated to the scientific research, creation and maintenance of basic digital language resources and language technology tools for the modern Slovenian language. The main task of the CJVT UL is to provide an interdisciplinary institutional framework where the development of technologies, resources and tools for the Slovene language is carried out in a planned, systematic and long-term manner, which is neccessary for Slovene to retain its status as an equivalent language of choice in the digital environment.

Faculty of Computer and Information Science (FRI) provides an interdisciplinary group of experts with a common interest in development, research and other activities in the defined tasks of the CJVT. The main contribution of FRI to the project is the development of innovative methods for the processing of linguistic data, which significantly reduce the time and financial input required for the preparation of linguistic resources and technologies. The procedures used are continuously improved, ensuring that the automatic part of the processing of the data for the Slovene language is improving.
