KaUč

The Slovenian Textbook Quality Project (KaUč) focuses on the review and research of textbook use in Slovenia. Based on the findings, the main objective of the project is to develop textbook quality indicators for practical use in the process of textbook validation and evaluation.

The KaUč project has developed the first application for assessing the difficulty of Slovenian language texts. The Centre for Language Resources and Technologies of the University of Ljubljana provides server infrastructure support for the developed tool. The tool can be accessed here. The application will be further developed and adapted to the needs and findings of new research. User feedback will also be taken into consideration.
