Jezikovna Slovenija Portal

The Jezikovna Slovenija portal presents the various available information on language policy in the Republic of Slovenia in a clear and concise manner. The main content of the portal covers topics such as the language situation in the Republic of Slovenia, language education, language resources and Slovene in the EU, and is complemented by a selection of relevant institutions and documents, as well as videos in which representatives of institutions explain their tasks in the field of language policy, and individuals talk about their language experiences and views on language reality. The portal also hosts a language policy advisory service.

The portal is the result of the project Establishment and Maintenance of the Language Policy of the Republic of Slovenia portal (Jezikovna politika Republike Slovenije), funded by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia from 2014 to 2017. The portal is being updated from November 2020 as part of the project Upgrading the Jezikovna Slovenija web portal (Nadgradnja spletnega portala Jezikovna Slovenija). This project is also funded by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia and implemented by the Faculty of Public Administration, the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Ljubljana in cooperation with the Center for Language Resources and Technologies.
